National Supply Chain Planner - Clifton, NJ - Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
Pay Range: $64,900 - $116,800 / year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

The primary responsibility of the planner is to manage the creation of a statistical demand forecast and a baseline forecast with deep insights on model and data. This role is responsible for identifying high-impact items and analyzing forecast changes in this baseline, driving understanding of key assumptions. This role is tasked with using data insights to improve forecast accuracy. To create the forecast, this individual uses advanced statistical forecasting tools, together with their knowledge of the business and the market and compares hypothetical situations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the statistical baseline forecast and include inputs from cross functional areas
- Use and maintain demand-planning systems with adequate parameters for creating the best statistical forecast possible using established processes.
- Develop & monitor changes and forecast accuracy to business unit and supply chain organizations, while driving continuous improvement
- Leverages inputs from sales, marketing, and operations to understand and interpret the historical impact of market trends and demand drivers
- Utilize data analytics tools to monitor inventory trends, consumption patterns, and supply chain performance metrics
- Use data to forecast supply needs and identify cost-savings opportunities across the supply chain
- Work with external customers and internal operations, procurement and laboratory teams to align supply chain strategies with organizational goals
- Manage inventory during supply chain disruptions, including sourcing alternatives and developing contingency plans and strategies
- Provide support for new product launches or changes in testing that affect inventory requirements
Qualifications:
Required Work Experience:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Materials, Warehousing, Purchasing, Operations or equivalent
- Experience in data visualization and analytics tools (ex. Minitab, Tableau, PowerBI)
- Familiarity with supply chain software
Preferred Work Experience:
- Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization tools is preferred.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office experience, specifically Excel
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret large, complex data and drive actionable decisions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into high-level analysis and demand planning.
- Communicates clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers
- Evaluate scenarios with end-to-end supply chain impact in mind
