Collections Representative - Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern
Pay range: $19.41 - $24 / hour
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Data Entry of all required billing information that appears on requisitions and laboratory reports.
- Entry of demographic and billing information in multiple hospital and laboratory interfaces.
- Eligibility knowledge (EV modules like Availity)
- Assists in edit resolution of Pre-Processor and TES edits
- Assist in BIP edits
- Assists in acquiring missing billing information (demographics/reports)
- Assists in QCing Coord, Billing I data entry as needed
- Ability to meet and exceed quality and production standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be detailed oriented with independent work habits
- Maintain Compliance with HIPPA regulations at all times
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of data entry experience (preferably in medical field)
- 1+ years of stable work experience (preferably doing primarily data entry)
- 1+ years of working experience with Microsoft Tools including Microsoft Word (creating memos, writing), Microsoft Outlook (setting calendar appointments, email) and Microsoft Excel (creating spreadsheets, filtering, navigating reports)
- Ability to use remote meeting/learning applications including instant messaging and video conferencing.
- Typing speed of at least 50+ WPM
- Ability to use 10 Key
- Knowledge of QBS/WBS or Centricity- bonus but not a must
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
