Job Description
Maintenance Technician II - Cleveland, OH - Tuesday - Saturday 12:00PM-8:30PM
Position ensures that the facilities are kept in good repair and working order.
Pay Range: $22.10+ per hour; Employee may be eligible to receive shift differential of 10% for some or all hours worked on second shift and 15% for some or all hours worked on third shift. Additional details on shift differential will be provided if an offer is extended.
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities:
- Serves as electrician in repairing basic electrical malfunctions of a minor nature and installing new equipment.
- May work as a plumber in assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and sewer systems; and in opening clogged drains.
- Acts as a carpenter in the alternation, repair, and maintenance of buildings, floors, roofs, stairways, partitions, doors, windows, screens, scaffolding forms, wood fixtures, and furniture.
- May operate hand saw, planer, joiner, shaper, table saw, wood lathe, drill press, sanding machine, router, and electric drill.
- Will maintain tools and machinery in good condition and use all tools carefully and as instructed.
- May perform minor repairs to air conditioning system as directed and see to general maintenance of system.
- Provides follow-up on all quality control issues.
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Work Experience:
More than 5 years experience in general building maintenance

Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Good general physical condition
- The normal performance of duties may require lifting and carrying objects: Objects 1 to 10 pounds are lifted and carried frequently; objects 11 to 25 pounds are lifted and carried occasionally; objects 36 to 50 pounds are seldom lifted or carried and objects over 50 pounds are not to be lifted or carried without assistance.
- Ability to stand and work for long periods of time.
- Frequent walking and/or standing.
Knowledge:
- General knowledge of various types of equipment used in the building trades
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, construction, and air conditioning equipment and codes.
Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to work with hands and to work in mechanically oriented situations following instructions of a supervisor;
- Ability to work with little or no supervision, given proper instructions
- Ability to follow instructions, given either orally or in writing;
