Job Description

This position is responsible for leading automation efforts using UiPath, providing technical support of inbound and outbound eligibility feeds, dashboard development, and custom report generation in support of internal and external customer needs. Also provides advanced technical product support for Employer Population Health applications working closely with internal and external customers.

This position is also responsible for gathering business requirements for inbound analytics requests, designing and developing solutions using UiPath (RPA), Tableau, Power BI, and/or Alteryx, and presenting findings and strategic output to leadership. This position does not directly supervise others but is responsible for driving results across cross-functional teams and coaching junior developers on the best use of models, automated processes, and data standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead RPA and Automation Initiatives: Lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of scalable and sustainable automation solutions using UiPath to streamline business operations and eliminate manual data processing.

• Requirements Gathering: Independently lead the process of gathering and evaluating complex business requirements for incoming business analytics and workflow automation requests; translate requirements into efficient and effective technical solutions.

• Analytics & Reporting Solutions: Lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of sustainable/automated Business Intelligence (BI), reporting, and analytical dashboards using Tableau and Power BI. Create scorecards, operational workflows, and highly interactive visualizations for regional leadership.

• Database & Query Optimization: Design, develop, deploy, and support measure algorithms in the form of complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, and database queries (primarily within Snowflake and SQL Server environments).

• Data Hierarchy & Account Management: Support database administration and datasets tracking client onboarding lifecycles, and manage complex parent–child account hierarchies to ensure seamless rolled-up executive reporting.

• Ad-Hoc Business Reporting: Run and support monthly and ad-hoc client reporting pipelines. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to automated data processing and external system integrations.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with national teams, database administrators, and business stakeholders to execute project tasks, implement security protocols (including row-level access controls), and maintain infrastructure stability.

Qualifications:

Work Experience

• UiPath & Automation: 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-scale Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using UiPath (UiPath Advanced Developer certification is a plus).
• Data & Analytics: 5+ years of progressive, recent experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Dashboarding, Data Profiling, and Data Management.
• BI Visualizations: Demonstrated strong experience in Power BI or Tableau for high-quality dashboard creation, data profiling, and visual data storytelling.
• Data Querying & ETL: Proven proficiency in SQL and ETL tools. Experience with Alteryx (1+ years of workflow development) and Snowflake is highly preferred.
• Industry Experience: 1–2 years of experience in the Healthcare, Diagnostics, or Clinical Laboratory industry is preferred.
• Project Management Tools: Experience with Smartsheet workflow automation, portfolio tracking, and automated communication streams is an asset.

Technical Skills & Competencies

• Expert Proficiency in UiPath: Expert-level capability in building, deploying, and managing automated bots (Attended, Unattended, and Studio) along with orchestrator experience.
• Advanced Data Analysis: Strong capability to dissect complex operational datasets (e.g., specimen collection volumes, turnaround times, and onboarding lifecycles) and translate them into actionable business insights.
• Database & SQL Mastery: Exceptional skill in writing, tuning, and optimizing complex SQL queries and managing data pipelines.
• Visual Storytelling: Advanced skill in designing intuitive Power BI and Tableau dashboards utilizing best-practice UI/UX principles.
• Workflow Design: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to map out current-state business workflows and design automated future-state processes.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical architectures and automated workflows to non-technical executive stakeholders.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
