Job Description


Responsible for the day-to-day the creation, maintenance, training and support of key tools including  operations modeling for the purpose of evaluating new and current business, front-end data collection, automation of financial modeling and business analytics.

Evaluation and responding to the procurement needs for new and current PLS customers This position will also be a thought-partner and strategic advisor to the VP/GM of Health Systems and the Health Systems Enterprise Leadership Team on business challenges such as process improvement, lab network and footprint optimization, operations excellence and Quest Management Systems regarding equipment and supplies.




Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the build, maintenance, support and training on a “push button” Operations model tool used for delivering operations modeling including evaluating test menus, equipment replacement planning, FTE reductions, reagent/supplies savings to be used in the financial model for evaluating CoLab business.
  • Continue to develop and enhance tools for the purposes of operations and financial modeling of PLS customers.
  • On-going enhancement of preliminary and final proposal process so that it is (1) more aligned with M&A team, (2) allows Quest to respond more quickly to customer request and (3) allows Quest to compete effectively in the market.
  • Responsible for the build, maintenance, support and training of front-end data tools.
  • Responsible for the build of a front-end sales tool to support “modeling” pulling in definitive expenses, data price per test, etc. and align with customer provided expenses.
  • Partner with Executive Director and Sr. Director to develop an enhanced (1) data collection process that streamlines the process for quicker and more accurate delivery of proposals and (2) utilize current customer data to drive more effective proposals and pricing approach to new deals.
  • Responsible for developing the PPT template(s) for RFP responses for professional lab services.
  • Responsible for creating PPT and RFP documents for customer deliverables working closely Executive Director, Sales and GMNP in CoLab.
  • Responsible for further automating the “financial model” with a potential live link to the operations modeling to enhance the model, create transparency and reduce time to build models.
  • Responsible for on-going enhancement of the monthly “scorecard” and business committee output contract requirements.
  • Support regional outreach deals as needed as directed by Executive Director.
  • Potential to manage one (1) or more direct employee(s).



Qualifications:

Required Work Experience: 

  • 10-15 years of advanced data analytics or data science in the healthcare sector
  • 8+ years of technical leadership experience including experience leading data analytics solutions from design to operational deployment
  • Demonstrable experience leading multiple data analysts and projects at the same time
  • Expert knowledge of advanced analytics concepts and methodologies
  • Must have excellent executive presence and business acumen to deliver complex analytics concepts and insights to a non-technical business audience.
  • Experience leading in a matrixed organization required

Knowledge: 

  • Healthcare industry knowledge is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Cloud suites, Certified SharePoint Administrator, Tableau, Gen AI: CoPilot and SQL.

Work Environment:

  • Remote with flexibility to meet at local office as needed

  • Bachelor’s degree (Required)
  • Master’s degree (Preferred)
