Basic Purpose:
- Maintain customer billing database and ensure timely renewals. Assist customers with questions and concerns regarding billing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up, update, and cancel customer accounts in the billing system based off customer contracts
- Answer calls and emails from customers in a polite and timely manner. Some outbound calling required.
- Access billing system to answer customer questions and document call in a support system.
- Research and escalate customer complaints.
- Print and send customer invoices.
- Process cash receipts and payments
- Process customer refunds
- Participate in occasional audits of the billing system and other related software
- Must be knowledgeable of billing procedures for various product offerings.
- Works closely with the Collection Coordinator regarding past due accounts.
- Works closely with Enrollment, Sales, and Accounting teams
Qualifications:
Education Preferred:
- Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in accounting.
Work Experience:
- 1 – 2 years of customer relations and billing experience
