Lean Supply Supervisor - PLS - Belmont, MI - Monday - Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
Reporting to the Regional Material Manager; this position implements lean supply management principles within the Regional Laboratory network including materials/supplies movement and replenishment to point of use in the laboratory. Manages cycle count and daily replenishment routines interacting with the laboratory staff to assure material availability.
Pay Range: $58,656+ per year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

- Develop and implement standard business processes in concert with Corporate Standards for managing material flow across the laboratory (receiving, shipping, warehousing, operations and laboratory replenishment planning) for all facility types in assigned Region including Laboratories, RRL, PSC, IOP etc.
- Participate in key projects that support the overall regional supply chain strategy
- Lead internal work teams in the continuous improvement of Supply replenishment processes focused on overall cost and cycle time reduction
Education
· BS/BA degree in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent experience required
· Six Sigma Green Belt or lean certification desired
Experience/Skills
· Minimum 4-6 years laboratory or manufacturing, warehouse inventory, supply management experience
· Prior supervisory experience preferred
· APICS, CPIM certification desired
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact well with all levels of staff and management
· Efficient planning, organizing and project management skills
· Proven track record of progressively increased responsibility in all aspects of inventory and supply chain management
· Proficiency in a variety of software such as Excel, Word, Visio, etc is highly desirable
· Regional travel is required. Approximately 75% percent
