This is an outside sales position involving the
sales and service of mobile medical exams to the insurance industry. The sales
representative will introduce customers to Exam One service and set up new
customers with proper materials. The sales representative functions as a
liaison between customers and the Exam One Branch. Utilizing excellent
communications and interpersonal skills, the sales representative builds
rapport with customers and provides support and training. The sales
representative must be a proactive problem solver, helping to develop protocols
and procedures, which satisfy both company and customer needs and requirements.
The sales representative must be proactive and self-directed with the ability
to manage multiple projects and deadlines and work with little supervision.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills are essential.
Good interpersonal skills are required in order to build rapport with customers
and Exam One management and staff. Some travel may be required.
The territory encompasses Portland OR and the surrounding area.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Introduce customer to Exam One and set up new
customers with proper materials.
2. Sales support to Exam One customers under the
direction of the Exam One management staff.
3. Develop new relationships with prospective
customers.
4. Maintain positive relationships with existing
customer base.
5. Become an active member in local, county and
state insurance organizations including but not limited to attending monthly
meeting, sponsorship of approved events, exhibiting at trade shows, and
staffing the Exam One booth as requested by management.
6. Provide operational assistance when necessary
to maintain business continuity.
7. Complete at the minimum number of sales calls
(90 per week) and presentations as directed by Exam One management staff (2 per
week).
8. Submit all required reports in a complete and
timely manner. 9. Maintain a positive, professional relationship with all
co-workers, customers, affiliates and competitors.
10. Represent Exam One with honesty, integrity
at all times and in accordance with corporate policy.
SALES SUPPORT INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTS
1. Initial contacts based on referrals and cold
call" activity.
2. Answering questions from potential customer
regarding Exam One, services, etc.
3. Presenting Exam One service information.
SETTING UP INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTS
The sales representative will gather information
necessary to set up account, including but not limited to:
1. Customer/agency name, address, phone
2. Insurance companies they write for
3. Contact names.
4. Company requirements The insurance sales
representative will:
1. Ensure that all necessary information
concerning the customer account is transmitted to the appropriate office
personnel in a timely manner.
2. Follow-up to ensure information is in place
to provide adequate service to account.
MARKETING INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTS
The insurance sales representative will provide
marketing support to customers in order to assure a successful working
relationship.
1. Provide training for customer and staff to
ensure proper handling of business.
2. Answer any questions from account staff.
3. Be proactive to account needs; be a creative
problem-solver."
4. Provide answers to questions raised by
individual agents or staff researching questions if necessary. 5. Follow-up
with account to ensure questions have been answered satisfactorily and/or
problems resolved.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required
