This is a front-line sales leader position which is responsible for execution of the commercial sales strategy for profitable growth in a geographic area for general and specialized sales and service representatives.

The territory encompasses Western Maryland and 5 counties in West Virginia.


Responsibilities:

•       Hire and retain an effective sales team of Account Executives and Account Managers

•       Coach, motivate and develop sales talent

•       Establish regional action plans and market strategies

•       Set metrics and accountability standards to drive performance towards goals

•       Manage and measure sales force performance and provide feedback to reps

•       Conduct district analytics and market intelligence

•       Work closely with operations

•       Marshal and manage resources to solve problems and achieve plans

•       Support key account development

•       Provide input to regional marketing efforts

Requirements:

•       Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Life Sciences

•       5+ years of business-to-business sales experience

•       Previous experience leading a team of sales professionals

•       Knowledge of the healthcare industry (payors/providers) is preferred but not required

Special Requirements:

•       Candidate must have residency in close proximity of territory

•       A valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record in good standing.
