The Manager, E-Commerce
Analytics is responsible for implementation and maintenance of our tag
management and analytics tools (Google Analytics 360, MixPanel, TealiumIQ, and
Tealium CDP) and delivery of insights to grow the business. S/he will partner
closely with marketing peers, MR&A and data science teams to advance
data-based decision making to accelerating the growth of Quest’s direct to
consumer business.
Duties And
Responsibilities
This position
is responsible for providing expert insight into Quest Diagnostic’s Direct to
Consumer (DTC) E-Commerce business, measuring and analyzing campaign and
product performance, and providing the combined management team with regular
reporting on business and marketing trends. This position will report to the
Director of E-Commerce Analytics, but will work on a daily basis with
Marketing, Market Research & Analytics, and data science teams.
Provide overall
website traffic and sales analysis and reporting; provide ad-hoc reporting as
needed using Google Analytics 360 and MixPanel.
Monitor and
report on marketing campaign performance for paid search, email marketing,
affiliate marketing, social media campaigns, and A/B and multivariate testing.
Implement tag
management using TealiumIQ and directly and partner with agencies / vendors.
Ensure
appropriate data about business is being sent to Tealium Customer Data Portal
(CDP) from various site.
By analyzing
digital analytics data, identify actionable opportunities for A/B and
multivariate tests to improve customer experience, customer retention, conversion
rate, and revenue per visitor (RPV).
Provide
in-depth reporting on category opportunities for merchandising, using both
internal data and external market research tools.
Manage on-site
placement of products in key areas in tandem with merchandising and user
experience teams.
Communicate
trends, insight, forecasts, and plans with recommendations to management team.
Provide ongoing
analysis of customer demographics and buying behavior.
Qualifications
Required Work
Experience:
5 years
previous E-Commerce experience (DTC E-Commerce experience)
5 years
previous E-Commerce analytics experience using Google Analytics 360 or
equivalent (MixPanel, Google Analytics, or Adobe Analytics)
3 - 5 years
previous E-Commerce experience using TealiumIQ or equivalent tag management
tool (Adobe Launch, Adobe DTM, or Google Tag Manager)
Well-developed
quantitative skills and analytical thinking
Strong computer
skills, including advanced Excel and Data Visualization (Tableau, PowerBI, or
Google Data Studio) skills
Ability to deal
with ambiguity and a changing environment

Ability to work
in a team-oriented environment
Ability to meet
concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Work
Experience
Expert
knowledge / certification in Google Analytics, MixPanel, or Adobe Analytics
Comfortable
with Javascript, CSS, jQuery
Ability to
write SQL and use database query tools
Familiarity
with A/B and Multivariate Testing tools (Adobe Target, Optimizely, Google
Optimize, VWO, Monetate)
Experience with
statistical Analysis software / programming languages like SAS, R, or Python
Past experience
with another healthcare or highly regulated Direct to Consumer business.

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics or Marketing, or equivalent combination of
experience and education. MBA or advanced degree in statistics preferred.
