Consumer initiated testing (QuestDirect) allows patients to conveniently purchase their own laboratory tests online without going to a doctor

Position Description
The Director Strategic Growth, Partnerships will play a key role in expanding access to QuestDirect. This individual will lead business growth opportunities from identification through contract negotiation and execution. The Director will oversee the development of partner-related strategy and operations across multiple verticals, including but not limited to Retail, Healthcare (Health System, Health Plans), Pharmaceuticals, Governments and Employers.
Responsibilities
Establishes vision and profitable growth strategy for the consumer initiated testing business through strategic partnerships
Proactively identifies new leads and executes against them
Manages complex negotiations aimed at establishing the foundation for a strong working relationship with partners including sustainable economics for both parties
Identifies new product features and new models to meet partner needs; acts as the product owner for the partnership user experience
Reviews and analyzes client, market data, and industry research; Prepares decks for pitch and other client meetings
Develops and presents business cases for new opportunities and prioritization cross-functionally (IT, Operations, etc.)
Collects product feedback and manages regular product/service KPI reporting (including order volume, revenue, etc.)
Collaborates with market research to generate insights on customer needs and desired solutions; Collaborates with business development to respond to partnership inquiries

Achieve revenue, volume and margin targets in sub-segment AOP
Development of 3-year sub-segment Strategic Plan

Qualifications
Requires Bachelor’s degree. Degree in business, marketing and/or product management. Advanced degree/ MBA preferred
7+ years relevant experience in healthcare (consumer, pharmaceuticals and/or diagnostics) preferable with at least 3 years in business development or position with a focus on strategic partnerships
Strong knowledge of digital healthcare
Consumer experience/ e-commerce experience a plus
Previous P&L management experience preferred
Executive presence, composure, KOL relationships
Organized, self-starter, and ability to adjust to a quickly changing landscape
Negotiations skills
