Associate Director, Genetics, the role:
The Associate Director, Genetics, reports to the licensed Medical, Scientific Director or Chief Director. The Associate Director, Genetics is responsible for providing technical review and batch release of reports and preparation of clinical cases for sign-out solely under the guidance and direction of a board-certified Genetics Director. This professional assists with the implementation of new assays and assay troubleshooting. The Associate Director provides direction and supervision of clinical testing, serves as a technical consultant to operations staff, participates in QA responsibilities, and reviews SOPs.
