HRSC Learning, Development and Communications Intern

Support the execution of Human Resources Service Center (HRSC) strategic goals and objectives, by working closely with the HRSC Learning, Development and Communication and HR Portal team.  This includes administrative support with scheduling, reporting, maintenance of reports, and design tasks.


Learning and Development

  • Support the Learning, Development and Communication team with end-to-end content and communication development.
  • Manage the Training and Development Queue and assign to appropriate team members.
  • Oversee set up of courses, live sessions, and upload of recordings/materials in Learning Management System. Track all training attendance.
  • Coordinate all scheduling of HRSC Town Halls, Lab Tours and Lunch and Learns.
  • Update HRSC goals project Excel sheet of all deliverables.
  • Maintain document repository in WalkMe for all resources and videos.
  • Maintain master document for Knowledge Articles, FAQs, and SmartTexts for HR Help Desk.
  • Create a Service Request for the team if needed.
  • Manage monthly report updates for WalkMe.

Communications

  • Support HRSC Leadership development, preparation, and dissemination of communications related to Service Delivery (HRSC and HR Portal, templates, newsletters, internal/external communications).
  • Support Everbridge HRSC employee data is up to date and partner with Everbridge rollouts.
  • Manage HRSC Distribution lists for the HRSC.
  • Manage the QTV slides at the HRSC.
  • Manage the Digital Workplace updates for the Learning, Development and Communication site.
  • Manage the Cyclical Calendar Excel sheet for HR Portal Support site and HRSC Learning and Development sites.
  • Maintain weekly report out document for HRSC Operations Huddle.

HR Portal

  • Assist in maintaining HR Portal content ownership Excel spreadsheet for all pages.
  • Coordinate conducting quarterly audit of the HR Portal to ensure document accuracy.
  • Support HR Portal Administrator as needed for special projects.
  • Assist in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator image editing, Microsoft Word Mail Merges, Video editing/compression, and Microsoft Excel reports.

  • Minimum one year of instructional and/or graphic design experience; preferably from a professional services firm or similar environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional, virtual teams and internal business partners.
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language, communicating clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint Teams, Office).
  • Technology savvy.

  • Sitting for long periods at a time.

Technical Skills (Preferred but not required)

  • Oracle, SharePoint, Digital Adoption Platforms (WalkMe), Adobe Captivate, Rise 360, Vyond, Canvas, Applicant Tracking Systems, LMS System, Photoshop.
