Job Description

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma - 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

Main Duties:

  1. Accurately enters client orders, both internal and external, into inventory management program

  2. Provides quality customer service with professionalism in person, over the phone, and in email communications.

  3. Receiving, unloading, opening and labeling of freight and product.

  4. Internal delivery of product, shipments, mail items, etc

  5. Accurately enters internal stock orders, picks, pulls and delivers to the designated area.

  6. Labels boxes and place in designated area(s) for delivery.

  7. Performs daily inventory counts to ensure database accuracy and integrity.

  8. Communicates all inventory issues (inaccuracies, low level of supply, out of stocks, etc.) to your Supervisor.

  9. Assists in performing complete physical inventory.

  10. Maintain a clean and safe work area as well as practice safe work habits in accordance to current Materials and Services Management, Human Resources, Employee Health and Safety, OSHA, CLIA, etc. policies and procedures.

  11. Complies with current Materials and Services Management, Human Resources, Employee Health and Safety, Compliance, OSHA, CLIA, etc. policies and procedures.

  12. Re-stocks assigned supply areas.

  13. Reports backorder items, damaged goods and items that are below normal stocking levels to the Analyst, Coordinator, Lead or Manager for appropriate and timely action.

  14. Performs other duties as required.

Required Knowledge: Customer service/relations, Multi-tasking, Data entry experience, Basic computer skills, Word and Excel a plus, PeopleSoft inventory experience a plus, Six months previous experience in customer service, warehouse or similar setting preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Printing pick tickets for supply orders.
2. Accurately pick and pack (fill) all orders and deliver to the designated area, within designated turn around timeframe to ensure customer satisfaction.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Work Experience:
None required.

Six months previous experience in a warehouse or store room setting preferred.

Special Requirements:
-Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
-Able to work effectively in a team environment as well as ability to work independently with little supervision.
-Ability to lift a minimum of seventy (70) pounds.
-Ability to operate and utilize a pallet jack and/or other material handling equipment.
-Ability to operate and utilize a computer, printer, and bar code scanner.
