Basic Purpose:

The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for participating in value added financial analytics to facilitate top line and Bottom line growth and business efficiency in working with various functional leaders in a matrix organization.  The successful candidate will be expected to routinely provide financial insights on region’s financial and sales performance to regional leadership.  Main duties supporting growth and efficiency through required analysis related to pricing, new deals and efficiency initiatives.  Position will work closely with Corporate / Matrix organization.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support related to financial reporting and month end close processes

  • Prepare and analyze financial and operational reports, and performs variance analysis

  • Assists in Invigorate reporting in coordination with key Operational Leadership Team members

  • Provides value added analysis related to Operations

    • Productivity performance by department and function

    • Tracking payroll cost and FTE’s at the departmental level

    • Expense Trending and providing insights to help understand and improve performanceSupply and Lab Sub performance analytics

    • Revenue and Volume/Price analytics

    • Analyze variance against labor and material cost standards

    • Cost per Test analysis

    • Assists in management involvement in capital deployment activity, namely Capital Spend monitoring and budgeting

    • Investment look back analysis

    • ROI and NPV calculations for prioritization of capital projects

  • Provides input for forecasts based on acquired business insights

  • All other duties as assigned

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting

  • MBA and/or CPA a plus

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

  • Some professional accounting/finance experience

  • Possesses high level of personal and professional integrity

  • Strong interpersonal skills
