Global Markets
Our international operations, Global Markets, operate in three regions around with world (The Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific) with each region having full accountability and authority for its own P&L. Each of the regions is a sizable business in and of itself. Global Markets has laboratory facilities in Gurgaon, India; Mexico City, Mexico; and San Juan, Puerto Rico. We also provide reference testing in numerous other countries. We expect that our expansion strategies will include a mix of our traditional approaches as well as the formation of strategic partnerships and targeted M&A.
Position Description
The Senior Director, Corporate Strategy provides insights to and advises the CEO and Senior Management Team on strategic challenges and opportunities for the organization. S/He provides thought leadership on the healthcare market and on how Quest Diagnostics can achieve its vision, goals and strategy. The position manages and directs analytics to address market, sub-market and business questions. S/He leads governance process for the Board of Directors and Senior Management Team on behalf of the CEO. The role also supervises 1-2 analysts (Manager, Strategy and Business Deployment or Senior Business Analyst). The position reports to the Executive Director, Corporate Strategy.
Responsibilities include:
Desired Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s in Business Administration required
• 7+ years at a management consulting firm or 10+ years in Corporate environment setting/driving strategic change
• Conversant in US healthcare system
• Must possess superior analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex ideas and handle ambiguity
• Proficient in creating new economic or business models
• Excellent in driving and facilitating senior level teams and in crafting logical storylines for review
• Strong listening, written and oral presentation skills suitable for C-Suite and external partner discussions
• Proven experience in strategic planning
• Proven experience in risk management
• Proven experience in change management
• Strong relationship building skills
• Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
