Basic Purpose:

This position is responsible for all aspects of recruiting (sourcing, interviewing and hiring) health professionals as independent contractors to staff health and wellness events.  This position is also responsible for performance coaching for the contractors (contractor relations) as it relates to behavioral performance of the health care professional.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Source potential candidates based on strategic network needs / requests from the Health and Wellness Specialist for designated region
• Responsible for screening candidates
• Conduct phone interview and selection process
• Identify candidates to be extended independent contractor partnership (based on screening / interviewing process)
• Extend offer for independent contractor partnership including contractor paperwork
• Responsible for the on-boarding process
• Handle contractor relations including coaching calls, investigations and partnership terminations for designated region
• Establish and maintain strong partnership within internal organization
• Responsible for building and maintaining positive relations with our network of independent contractors
• Partner with external resources (colleges, medical staffing entities and other industry specific organizations) to support the sourcing and business needs

Supervision Exercised: 



Education Preferred: 

  •  BS / BA or equivalent work experience
  • Work Experience: 2-4 years prior recruiting and/or human resources and/or staffing experience


• Computer skills required; proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
• Experience handling employee relations or contractor relations strongly preferred
• Strong telephone skills (A majority of the time spent in this role is on the phone)
• Strong customer service skills
• Highly organized, extreme attention to detail, excellent work ethic
• Ability to contribute individually as well as in a team-environment
• Ability to work in a metrics driven environment
