•Assumes a senior technical developer role in enterprise
master data management (MDM) and system integration projects

•Designs, develops and implements MDM and system integration

•Provides technical expertise throughout application
development phases from inception to requirements, elaboration, construction,
deployment and maintenance

•Supports production applications and systems; ensuring each
system operates per service level agreements, and complies with government
regulations and industry standards


•Collaborate with business partners, architects, project managers,
and IT Infrastructure colleagues throughout development

•Provide project estimations

•Support project manager during planning and development

•Provide guidance to junior and consultant developers, and
perform design and code reviews

•Ensure development compliance with established development
methodologies, company policies and security standards

•Evaluates emerging technologies, application architecture,
development trends / methods and industry best practices

•Active contributor and participant throughout application
development phases using RUP and/or Agile

•Gather and document requirements in use case or applicable
technical specification format

•Design MDM and system integration components using class,
data, object, sequence and user interface models

•Develop code based on design specification

•Create and execute unit test cases and support QC, load and
integration testing

•Create implementation plan to deploy software in
development, staging and/or production environments

•Provide production support


Education Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree – BA or BS – or equivalent

Work Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in Java JEE development using WebLogic
(or equivalent) and Oracle in n-tier environment.  Below lists the
required knowledge and experiences.

•Java JEE (Servlets, JSPs, Struts, JSTL, JDBC, EJBs, JMS,
Web Services - SOAP & REST)


•Service oriented architecture

•Design patterns

•Data modeling

•JBuilder (or Eclipse), SQL Developer (or equivalent) and
TogetherJ (or equivalent)

•IIS (or equivalent), WebLogic (or equivalent) and Oracle
(or equivalent)

•Windows, HPUX or Linux


•Master data management concepts, solutions and
implementation experience

•Experience with Informatica MDM and IDQ, IBM Identity Hub
or other equivalent MDM solutions

•Excellent communication skills – both oral and written

•Excellent problem solving skills and proven ability to
systematically debug problems and isolate root cause

•Ability to work in a matrix environment – collaborating
across different IT functions

•Load testing using LoadRunner or equivalent (desirable)

•Agile Development, Apache, JBoss, MySQL (desirable)
