This is an outside sales position involving the sales and service of mobile medical exams to the insurance industry. The sales representative will introduce customers to ExamOne service and set up new customers with proper materials. The sales representative functions as a liaison between customers and the ExamOne Branch. Utilizing excellent communications and interpersonal skills, the sales representative builds rapport with customers and provides support and training. The sales representative must be a proactive problem solver, helping to develop protocols and procedures, which satisfy both company and customer needs and requirements. The sales representative must be proactive and self-directed with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines and work with little supervision. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills are essential. Good interpersonal skills are required in order to build rapport with customers and ExamOne management and staff. Some travel may be required.


  • Introduce customer to ExamOne and set up new customers with proper materials.

  • Sales support to ExamOne customers under the direction of the ExamOne management staff.

  • Develop new relationships with prospective customers.

  • Maintain positive relationships with existing customer base.

  • Become an active member in local, county and state insurance organizations including but not limited to attending monthly meeting, sponsorship of approved events, exhibiting at trade shows, and staffing the Exam One booth as requested by management.

  • Provide operational assistance when necessary to maintain business continuity.

  • Complete at the minimum number of sales calls (90 per week) and presentations as directed by Exam One management staff (2 per week).

  • Submit all required reports in a complete and timely manner. Maintain a positive, professional relationship with all co-workers, customers, affiliates and competitors.

  • Represent ExamOne with honesty, integrity at all times and in accordance with corporate policy.


  • Initial contacts based on referrals and "cold call" activity.

  • Answering questions from potential customer regarding ExamOne, services, etc.

  • Presenting ExamOne service information.


The sales representative will gather information necessary to set up account, including but not limited to:

  • Customer/agency name, address, phone

  • Insurance companies they write for

  • Contact names.


  • Ensure that all necessary information concerning the customer account is transmitted to the appropriate office personnel in a timely manner.

  • Follow-up to ensure information is in place to provide adequate service to account.


The insurance sales representative will provide marketing support to customers in order to assure a successful working relationship.

  • Provide training for customer and staff to ensure proper handling of business.

  • Answer any questions from account staff.

  • Be proactive to account needs; be a creative problem-solver.

  • Provide answers to questions raised by individual agents or staff researching questions if necessary. Follow-up with account to ensure questions have been answered satisfactorily and/or problems resolved.



  • College degree required


  • Demonstrated record of academic achievement Involvement in extracurricular activities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Creative; ability to develop effective product presentations.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail Self-motivated, ability to work with little supervision Proactive; good problem solving skills.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Professional telephone skills.

  • Computer skills; word processing experience, Microsoft Word, Excel, E-mail

  • Good driving record


  • Medical and/or Insurance knowledge helpful,

  • Previous sales experience.

  • Presentations/public speaking.


  • The Insurance sales representative will provide marketing, service and support to individual accounts, both large and small.

  • Some travel may be required.

MUSTS BE 21 YEARS OF AGE (Company auto insurance requirement) Travel will be required
