Main Duties: The Sales & Marketing Support Specialist will be responsible for coordinating client and patient marketing projects under the direction of the marketing manager and sales director. The specialist will also function as the Company’s social media expert and video production coordinator.  In addition, they will facilitate a smooth client set up process to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction. The position will support field sales designed to increase the field representatives’ client interactions.

Required Knowledge: The marketing section of the position will focus on social media support, company online reputation, video production, website development and maintenance, graphic design, tradeshows and special projects. The sales section of the position will focus on client interactions and relationships, executing agreements and pricing, compiling data, database updates, and special projects.

Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Solid PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel (including v lookup skills, pivot tables and graphing), PowerPoint and Access.

Required Experience: Video production, preferably with Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign,
Basic HTML knowledge for website maintenance and email marketing campaigns,
Ability to write copy for various blog and education articles,
Manage online reputation for company,
Administer social media accounts,
1-2 years of experience in similar role preferred

Previous experience in a clinical laboratory preferred,
Strong personal belief in the importance of Customer Service,
Extensive laboratory test knowledge is required to perform accurate test correlations for cost analysis,
Collaboration skills and ability to work as a team,
Exhibits extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access skills,
Professional phone skills,
Time management skills to facilitate the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time with speed and accuracy.

Special Requirement: Work hours may vary based on special events such as bids, conventions, and tradeshows.
