Job Summary:

The Sales Director is responsible for establishing and maintaining business relationships with decision makers in national and multiple location healthcare companies who would benefit from services provided by MedXM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.  Other duties may be assigned.
Establish and maintain high level relationships with business decision makers at major health care organizations.
Secure new accounts while managing and growing sales revenue of existing key accounts
Investigates competitor products, promotions and sales strategies
Has a complete understanding of pricing and overall marketing practices
Conducts sales calls to follow-up on all accounts to ensure satisfaction with all agreements made during sales process.
Demonstrates superior knowledge and expertise of all aspects of products and services provided by MedXM.
Understands billing, rate structures and pricing models.
Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
Forecasts activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
Leads sales staff to meet and exceed corporate goals.
Frequent overnight travel by air and/or automobile.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience: 
Bachelor’s degree in business or sciences
10 years of work experience.
Minimum 5 years of developing new business and sales experience.

Skills: 
Experience and success in recruiting and retaining a high performance sales team and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse sales team.
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals and plans.
Demonstrated ability to professionally develop and assist new team members.
Strategy development, project management, problem solving, and change management skills.
Solid understanding of healthcare and regulatory requirements and issues.
Exceptional negotiation skills.
Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally.
Ability to effectively present information and negotiate with all levels of management.
Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
Business related computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:
A solid understanding of the patient monitoring market; including trends, products, and players.

Licenses and Certificates:
High School Diploma
Bachelor Degree

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to travel as required, estimated to be 50% or more
Requires vision (which may be corrected) to read small print.
Performs lifting, pushing and/or pulling which does not exceed 25 - 30 pounds .
