JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Update and maintain specific systems, databases and files used by Procurement in the management of supplier quality and risk. System administrator of specific systems as required.

-Triage incoming supplier quality problems, insuring that urgent problems are handled, tracked and passed off to appropriate SME’s quickly and are communicated to company and supplier representative as appropriate.

-Manage the administrative elements of the SCAR and Cost Recovery activities and data, insuring proper logging and documentation and providing reports and charts.

-Support the supplier quality engineers in various tasks, in increasing level of responsibility as experience and knowledge in the function develops.

-Coordinate activities to manage recalls and product call backs and quarantining of materials

-Provide data and metrics for the department, downloading data from system and managing small to medium sized databases in MS Excel, Access, and Power BI

-Support aspects of quality management systems audits, including leading the supplier self- assessment program

-Support the supplier quality department’s need for development of flow charts and written process descriptions. Keep the department‘s SOP and work instructions up to date, supporting the process owners.

-Train other procurement areas in these processes and maintains training materials for the function

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-Undergraduate degree or experience equivalent

-Strong data management and analytical skills; ability and desire to learn new software as needed

-Detail and quality process improvement orientation and skills

-Interest in Corporate Procurement

-Professional presentation

-Team player with strong interpersonal skills

-Strong skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio

-Strong writing skills

-Ability to influence suppliers, colleagues, and levels up

Positive Consideration given to candidates with experience:


-Medical technician/lab operations background
-Pilgrim Smart Solve Administration
-MS Access and Power BI skills
-QMS background, including working knowledge of statistics
-Quality auditing
-Manufacturing and quality management experience
