RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide professional anatomic pathology diagnostic services including interpretation of tissue biopsies resections and cytologic preparations.

Provide professional oversight and direction of anatomic pathology services including quality assurance functions, medical directorship where indicated (per CLIA), and technical direction as required.

Provide educational services, conferences, and instruction where required.

 Comply with continuing medical education requirements for licensure and Privilege status.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 EDUCATION:

Required:    MD or DO degree plus approved pathology residency.

Desired:  Additional GI,  Breast Pathology, Surgical or Cytopathology sub-specialty training

EXPERIENCE:

Required:  Residency and if applicable fellowship.

Desired:  One year  plus post-residency experience

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND OR REGISTRATIONS

Must hold valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in Ohio.

Must be board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

Must hold active privileges in facility where any inpatient work interpreted.
