Software Engineer III
Quest Diagnostics Incorporated seeks Software Engineer III in Norristown, PA. Responsible for site creation and managing SharePoint requests. Develop SharePoint software solutions and carry out software testing and quality assurance practices for software delivery. Responsible for overseeing the SharePoint support team and following Software Development Life Cycle practices, such as reviewing, testing, and evaluating software. Duties include developing SharePoint software solutions as needed, SharePoint site creation and maintenance, managing User and site permissions, overseeing the support teams activities, and providing backup support as needed, and building or modifying SharePoint webparts. Troubleshoot and debug SharePoint sites. Use SQL Server Reporting Service and Report Builder and develop and integrate reports into SharePoint. Conduct design and code reviews of multiple projects and communicate team and project status to project management and clients. Provide expert guidance on owned application areas. Working with SharePoint site and content migration tools. Enhance and support current system applications using SharePoint Designer, PowerApps, Central Admin, Workflows, and PowerShell Scripts.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience in software development. Experience must include: 5 years of experience developing tools and timer jobs using C#; using PowerShell scripts to update SharePoint content; site creation and management using SharePoint Admin and automation using SharePointAPI; customizing pages and views on SharePoint using JS, CSS, and HTML. Remote work permitted up to 80% of time.
