Basic Purpose:

This position is responsible for assisting in the training of new employees and providing continual training to existing employees in the Teleinterviewer and Teleunderwriting positions.  This position will also be responsible for completing Teleunderwriting interviews.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The major functions of the position (Optional – Indicate the percentage of time spent performing these functions.)

30%  Assists in new-hire training for the Teleinterviewer and Teleunderwriter positions including on-going, day-to-day, one-on-one sessions for existing employees.  Uses implemented feedback mechanisms to provide results from the training sessions.  Serves as a resource to Teleinterviewers and Teleunderwriters on questions received during interviews.  Assists with training and guidance within lower production groups. 

65%  Completes interviews with insurance applicants via telephone.  These interviews will include gathering medical, financial, occupational, and avocation histories.  Reviews and edits information collected during the interview for quality assurance purposes.  Manages the C4 Call Management System by making telephone calls, logging call attempts, documenting information within orders as necessary and recording call results.  This will also include completing calls through the Language Line, TTY, and complete PCU cases.
  
5%  Responsible for disseminating interview and workflow changes to Teleinterviewers and Teleunderwriters.
  
Other duties as assigned.
  
Responds to the needs and requests of clients and ExamOne management and staff in a professional and expedient manner.
  
Observes all compliance policies and safety policies and procedures as outlined in the ExamOne Safety Manual or safety matters included in other special training.

Supervision Exercised: 
     This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Examples of decisions that can be taken without conferring with supervisor. 

- Decision to change the content of an interview to reflect what was actually stated during the call.
 - Decision to change the content of an interview based on the request of the customer.

Examples of decisions that can be taken only after conferring with supervisor. 

- Decision to change the content of an interview that has already been received and billed.
 - Decision to change the workflow or scripting of an existing account.

Qualifications:

Education Preferred:   

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.


Work Experience: 

Six-months to one-year employment as a Teleinterviewer or Teleunderwriter I or equivalent experience.
