You will handle all specimen receipt, sorting, data entry and work within the Forensic Toxicology Processing Department and assist the Forensic Drug Testing Laboratory. You will be responsible for the routine daily sample processing and be in a position to start your career in the healthcare industry.  If you are career-minded, enjoy working on your feet, and comfortable working with specimen samples, this is a great position for you! 


This position has the following full-time shifts available (in Central Standard Time): 

  • Tuesday – Saturday from 5:00am to 1:30pm 

  • Tuesday – Saturday from 10:00am to 6:30pm 

  • Tuesday – Saturday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm 



Duties and Responsibilities:  

  1. Has a preliminary but functional understanding of the QTN Lab Information System 

  1. Sort specimens by source (hair, oral fluid, urine, etc) and work list 

  1. Completes Maxilog Data Entry 

  1. Understands and adheres to strict forensic practices 

  1. Capable of processing urine specimens for regulated and non-regulated testing independently 

  1. Adheres to company policies and procedures 

  1. Proficient with scanning/imaging all custody and control forms 

  1. Capable of discarding negative specimens 

  1. Performs flexilog on routine urine specimens at 70 CCF’s per hour 

  1. Other duties as assigned by supervisor 



  • High School diploma or equivalent 

  • Able to sit or stand for long periods 

  • Work in a laboratory environment and adhere to safety requirements 

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. 

  • Practical knowledge of computer systems. 

  • Commitment to Customer Satisfaction 



  • Prior experience in a warehouse or as a processor
