Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for participating in value added financial analytics to facilitate business efficiency in working at direction of the Operations Finance Manager/Director.  The successful candidate will be expected to routinely provide financial insights on the Logistics and Facilities function’s financial performance to regional leadership.  Main duties include supporting growth and efficiency through required analysis related to productivity & efficiency initiatives.  Position will work closely with centralized accounting and financial planning and analysis.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•         Analyze month-end results and provide variance explanations

•         Prepare monthly reporting package and review with the Logistics leadership team

•         Have full ownership and responsibility of the Logistics and Facilities business function

•         Demonstrate strong business partnering and taking actionable approaches to drive operational excellence.

•         Provide insights on operational expenses (fuel, shuttle, and FTEs) and accountability for the analysis and explanation of significant trends, explaining monthly financial results, and drive forecasting and budgeting process to support efficient and effective analytics.

•         Integrate data from across various groups (Sales Operations, Pricing, OCA Team, QMS, Lab Operations, Patient Services and Logistics) to construct an overall understanding of total regional view that delivers meaningful insights.

•         Managing Capital Expenditures requests and tracking spend activity monthly

Qualifications:

•         Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and a minimum of 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in large public or corporate accounting/finance

•         Strong computer and analytical skills

•         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•         Highly Self Motivated

•         Proactive vs. Reactive

•         Demonstrates ability to operate in a cross-functional team environment

•         Demonstrate abilities to self-grow

•         Able to demonstrate leadership/ team player values

•         Able to take a request w/ basic guidance & deliver a presentable finished product

•         Successful candidate will help maintain & implement best practices, while continuously looking for opportunities of process improvements (simplifications, new reports, etc).
