Finance-IT Sr. Mgr- Secaucus, New Jersey - 9AM to 5PM Monday - Friday

Basic Purpose:

The Finance Manager for Information Technology is the Business Partner to the IT SLT members who are responsible for enhancing quality of IT infrastructure, services, application development and project management in a cost efficient manner. This position will handle multiple assignments in a rapidly changing, fast paced environment with frequent direct interaction with IT business partners, and centralized corporate teams. The Senior Finance Manager will lead analytics and process implementation efforts using complex financial and business data and turn it into actionable insights for the business partners supported.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost efficient investment of IT resources, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and in-house development, across the enterprise.
  • Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT initiatives. Perform NPV and ROI analysis of various investments across the enterprise and recommend highest value projects for senior management review.
  • Assume full accountability for IT P&L and internal / SOX controls, including all month-end close related activities
  • Review hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts and pursue master agreements to capitalize on economies of scale.

• Develop, track and control the information technology and procurement annual operating and capital budgets.

• Provide insights, financial analyses and recommendations to improve financial performance.

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial and operational analysis, Key Performance Indicator reporting for IT related spend across the enterprise.

• Plan and support broad assignments and recommend changes to analytical and budgetary methods and processes, enabling value creation through business efficiency.

Job Specifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Analytical Field

• MBA strongly preferred

• 7+ years of experience in finance, strategy or highly analytical field

• Direct supervisory experience strongly preferred

• Highly self-motivated to “make a difference” and act as a change agent

• Comfortable working in a matrix organization with cross-functional teams with no direct reporting relationship

• Demonstrates skill in working with senior management and functional subject matter experts.

• Capable of deploying and articulating strategic solutions to prospective business challenges

• Demonstrates a strong knowledge of operational and financial processes and practical application of financial and strategic analysis

• Excellent process and project management skills

• Strong MS Excel, database and Essbase / PeopleSoft experience desired
