Position Description

Responsible for oversight of the entire unit’s field operations including logistics, patient service centers, and STAT lab operations in labs greater than 750 employees in the field and at least 100 PSC’s or 100 IOP’s. Reports directly to the Managing Director and serves as a member of the unit’s leadership team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must demonstrate the ability to effectively manage/run a quality & efficient Field Operations organization, while providing a high service level to patients and clients.

  • Must demonstrate solid people leadership skills to motivate, coach and support both manager staff & employees.

  • Must have strong communication (verbal & written) and collaborative skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and other functions in the business unit to gain support in improving performance. -- Must be a change agent and possess significant energy to drive results and improvements.

  • Must be creative and challenge the status quo to find innovative ways to deliver & improve services, while keeping productivity in mind.

  • Ensure compliance with all company and government regulations.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to formulate operating objectives, goals & strategies and develop/maintain department budget.

  • Must work closely with sales to maintain and obtain new clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Graduate degree preferred

  • 8+ years of relevant experience
