Responsibilities

The Director, Health Care Professional (HCP) Customer Marketing will be the primary marketing lead for OBGYN call points, working closely with the Women’s Health Clinical Franchise (CF). S/He will Lead marketing efforts for the OBGYN customer channel, including development of marketing strategies and annual plan, incorporating insights from Executive/Senior Director, Customer Marketing, Business Leaders, Clinical Franchises and Regions.

The Director will develop marketing insights and strategic marketing plans to fulfill catefory priorities; drive execution through collaboration with Customer and Regional teams; liaise with Specialty Sales and participate in Sales Training.

Other Responsibilities include:

  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive awareness of Quest Diagnostics based on deep understanding of customer channel

  • Advise Regional Customer Leads on promotional strategies and tactics

  • Maintain strong level of insight into the customer’s core business drivers

  • Distill customer data and analytics into highly effective campaigns and other deliverables

  • Provide voice of customer into the strategic planning process

  • Have clear understanding of customer industry trends and drivers, as well as competitive landscape, to inform strategic marketing initiatives across target customer segments

  • Develop and implement customer-specific strategic marketing plan including tactical programming recommendations and investment requirements to maximize opportunities that yield measurable ROI

  • Supervise and/or mentor team members and provide guidance and serve as thought leader for internal business partners

  • Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently

  • Plan and execute campaigns related to new and existing products and solutions for target customer channel

  • Direct market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements

  • Control budgets and allocate resources across projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Business degree preferred

  • 5+ years healthcare industry experience preferred; Minimum 10+ years success in a marketing role

  • Direct people leadership experience preferred

  • Up to 50% business travel required

  • Team oriented – ability to lead diverse, cross functional teams and in a matrix environment

  • Excellent project leadership skills to ensure execution

  • Superior communication skills including ability to deliver formal business presentations to executive leadership

  • Initiative – ability to independently problem solve and find resolutions

  • Superior strategic thinking and analytical skills to synthesize market/customer insights into prioritized marketing opportunities; Strong capabilities in analyzing data to demonstrate quantifiable opportunities or results

  • Superior marketing capabilities to design marketing strategies and tactics to maximize opportunities
