Counselor Genetics - Field - Mon-Fri

We are currently looking for a US Board Certified Genetic Counselor for a Clinical Liaison position. This position is based out of our North American office but can be performed remotely in the USA or Canada.

Job Description:

The duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:

Provide advanced clinical support services for existing and potential Blueprint Genetics customers (health care providers such as physicians, genetic counselors, nurses, laboratory staff etc), and internally to the Client Services Team and Genetics Services Consultant Team.

Discuss appropriate testing strategies, assist with the interpretation of test results and informing on methodology, standards and limitations.

Provide feedback from customers to guide and improve product development.
Prepare and deliver internal training on Blueprint Genetics products and services.
Prepare and deliver external educational presentations.
Contribute to elevating Blueprint Genetics scientific profile through research, abstract and manuscript preparation.
Liaise with the marketing team to develop educational, marketing, and website materials.
Participate in the Medical Genetics and Genetic Counseling communities.
Participate in appropriate Patient Organizations.

Requirements:

US board Certified Genetic Counselor with an active accreditation
At least 3 years of clinical experience is recommended
Prior experience in a commercial setting is an advantage
Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible and enthusiastic attitude about taking on new challenges and being part of a growing company
Ability to travel for professional and corporate meetings.
