Basic Purpose:

The Business Process Modeling Engineer will partner with business leaders, process owners and subject matter expertise to gain an understanding of our current business and operational processes, as well as an understanding for their needs and requirements.  The BPM Engineer will design optimal business processes and lead simulations that will proactively recommend best practice and/or customized solutions driving business process improvement and overall efficiency, productivity and cost-savings for the company. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business subject matter experts to understand and document business processes in ARIS
• Identify and document instances where existing business processes may be streamlined or improved
• Provide support in applying process modeling for our business and operational functions
• Optimize process flows and work content
• Apply process modeling techniques to establish and continuously improve operations excellence
• Serve as team representative at designated meetings and respond to questions/tasks related to business process management/modeling
• Develop, maintain and distribute business process documentation to stakeholders

 Qualifications: 

• 1-3 years’ experience using process modeling tools (ARIS, ARENA, Process Model, etc…) to identify, capture, define and analyze business processes
• ARIS experience needed
• General simulation experience required
• Completion of the Certified ARIS Certification Program for the Business Designer a plus
• Experience with ARENA a plus
• Strong business process modeling skills, analysis, problem solving and process improvement
• Strong communication skills and team player
• Proven analytical skills to properly evaluate and interpret cross-functional requirements and identify process concerns
• A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and understanding for linkages and impact of strategy, process, enabling technologies and governance on business performance.
• Ability to perform effectively under deadlines with multiple priorities
• Leadership skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams
• The ability to influence others to move toward consensus
• Ability to work independently

Education:

• Bachelors in Engineering or a related degree preferred OR 1-3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Other: 20-40% travel
