Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assists in maintenance, alterations, and preventative maintenance in strict accordance with manufacturer recommendations and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations under direct supervision of Lead Aviation Technician or Aviation Maintenance Technician.
2. Assists in the maintenance of Quest Diagnostics aviation facilities.
3. Provides ground handling assistance to Flight Operations’ aircraft.
4. Maintains a service-oriented attitude toward customer needs, comfort, and safety.
5. Coordinates fuel requests and monitors aircraft fueling as required.
6. Assists in scheduled, unscheduled and preventative maintenance on Flight Operations aircraft under direct supervision of Lead Aviation Technician or Aviation Maintenance Technician.
7. Cleans aircraft interiors and exteriors as required.
8. Assists in the repair and maintenance of ground support equipment and tooling,
including but not limited to, power carts, hydraulic mules, rectifiers and tow tractors.
9. Ensures proper handling and storage procedures for hazardous materials stored at base location.
10. Attends and successfully completes Company and FAA required training.
11.Maintains a positive, team-oriented relationship with Flight Operations colleagues.
12. Other duties as assigned by the Chief of Aviation Maintenance, Lead Aviation Maintenance Technician Aviation Maintenance Technician and/or Director of Aviation Maintenance.

Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
