Basic Purpose:

Analyze and coordinate client data and projects related to Wellness programs/events.  Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and developing and implementing solutions for critical and complex issues related to client data.  Act as internal liaison to Client Engagement and work with other operational areas within and across Quest Diagnostics to resolve client data questions or concerns.  Ensure quality, integrity, consistency of data, and synchronization with multiple systems/interfaces (such as the Transaction Processor, the Wellness engine, QLS, QBS, Care360).  Mentor and collaborate with other team members to develop and communicate best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with all levels of Quest Diagnostic personnel (such as Medical Directors, Specimen management contacts, Quest standard and non-standard lab personnel, PSC office staff, ExamOne, MedPlus, Medivo, IDAA, and National Database) about projects or problems relating to wellness accounts.
  • Work within all functions of the Health and Wellness interfaces (Transaction Processor and Wellness Engine) to analyze and resolve issues related to participant data.
  • Investigate and analyze critical and/or complex client data issues and have the ability to provide guidance necessary to implement a solution.
  • Develop new and/or revise existing processes that effectively address the changing work environment.
  • Corroborate with the Quality Assurance specialists to investigate and identify the root cause of an issue and to put into action a process improvement.
  • Maintain continuous communication with the Client Engagement team on client data projects and problems.
  • Collaborate with the Mapping and Product teams to develop interface and product improvements.
  • Responsible for making independent and educated judgments in order to respond to urgent client concerns.
  • Collate and manage client specific documentation related to client data.
  • Performs special projects as assigned.
  • Periodic travel may be required (<10%).
  • Coordinate functions and schedules within the wellness data coordinator team.
  • Assist executing suggested changes within the wellness data coordinator team.
  • Facilitate on-the-job training for new or existing team members.
  • Mentor less experienced team members to improve their understanding and skills.

Education Preferred:             

  • Four-year college degree

Work Experience:       

  • Four years or relevant professional experience

  • Familiarity with QLS and/or other Health and Wellness related systems (TP, WE, QBS, Care360)
  • Working knowledge of the Blueprint for Wellness program and systems
  • Proficient PC user.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Data entry skills with quality and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Wide range access to confidential, sensitive information requires discretion
  • Must work effectively in a team environment
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively, receiving feedback from peers and supervisor to resolve internal and external client issues
  • Able to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
