Strategic Operations Mgr- North Little Rock, Arkansas - M-F

Basic Purpose:

This position is responsible for the implementation and oversight of the strategic plan for the ExamOne collection network.  This position is also responsible for ensuring that the highest quality of work is being performed by our collection network regardless of the customer being serviced.

This position reports directly to the Sr. Mgr, Strategic Operations for ExamOne.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.     Proactively provide solutions that can be adopted across the network to achieve our goal of standardization in our service delivery.

2.     Act as a liaison to represent our services to a broad range of customers related to the diversification mentioned above. 

3.     Oversee the administration of an evolving field workforce of both employee and contractor collectors to ensure that all regulatory requirements are being met.

4.     Lead process improvement projects utilizing Quest Management System principles or has experience utilizing other methodologies.

5.     Work with cross-functional teams within the Quest Diagnostics organization to gain access to the resources that are available to us.

6.     Serve as a key liaison with our internal customer groups (Health and Wellness, Employer Solutions, MedXM, Clinical Trials, etc) under the guidance of the Sr. Mgr, Strategic Operations to ensure successful delivery of the services provided on their behalf. This includes maintaining effective communication with these groups to ensure that our services meet their expectations.

7.     Manage the implementation of new technology in our collection network which would include ensuring that the utilization targets are met to achieve the desired financial, operational and sales benefits.

8.     Plan strategically about the long term direction of the collection network, given the diversification in revenue, while seeking solutions to past issues.

9.     Implement key initiatives across an organization meeting metric goals to ensure overall success.

10.  Utilize analytics to determine trends and issues that may exist in their defined territory and take proactive action accordingly.

Supervision Exercised:

3-8 Branch Managers and/or 200-550 indirect reports (on-call employees and field office staff).

Qualifications:

Education:

• BS / BA required or equivalent work experience

• MBA preferred

Work Experience:

• 3-7 years of applicable work experience

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Sitting, standing, driving, lifting no more than 10 pounds.

• Ability to concentrate on task at hand

• Ability to travel up to 40% of time

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Demonstrates good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to manage concerns of direct reports, employees and clients in a professional manner.

• Basic computer skills in Microsoft office with the ability to learn new software.

• Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.

• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
