Job Description

Spec, Clinical Franchise - Cleveland, OH  - 8:00am - 5:00pm

Basic Purpose:

A Clinical Franchise Specialist will support the Cardiovascular, Metabolic and Endocrine clinical franchise with special emphasis on the Quest Diagnostics Cardiometabolic Center of Excellence (COE) at Cleveland HeartLab (CHL). This position will facilitate franchise programs, support cardiometabolic sales enablement, manage COE-specific marketing initiatives, and drive cooperative efforts between the franchise and various CHL departments to deliver effective customer communications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Franchise and COE Program Operations

•       Operate as point-person for coordination of franchise and COE programs such as thought leadership webinars and in-person dinner programs, and on-site COE-related client events.

•       Coordinate contracts with key KOL’s while ensuring proper compliance protocols are met

•       Serve as primary franchise point-of-contact for collaborative efforts with external partners such as AHA, AACE, and ADA, to cultivate relationships and elevate the COE market reputation

•       Lead CHL-based efforts including HealthyQuest, American Heart Month and Stroke Month, Accelerate national sales meeting, on-site teambuilding competitions, community partnerships, and charitable events and fundraising

•       Facilitate basic project management, tracking, and progress reporting of franchise-wide initiatives. This includes recording and dissemination of notes from key franchise meetings with internal and external stakeholders as well as documenting critical insights and follow-up action items

•       Provide general administrative support for franchise leaders including calendar organization and scheduling, travel arrangements, event catering, expense reporting, and franchise orders/deliveries.

•       Collect vendor invoices, and other associated expenses, and process through proper channels

Sales Enablement and Cross-Functional Collaboration and Customer Communication

•       Manage COE SharePoint to provide commercial colleagues with communications and resources originating from the franchise

•       Organize and share domestic and international leads with commercial partners that are generated from customer service, industry tradeshows, and expert society conferences

•       Capture organic social and LinkedIn sales navigator learnings and convert to sales enablement tools compatible with franchise and COE market messaging

•       Support franchise cooperation with other Cleveland HeartLab departments, and other esoteric lab partners, by distilling content from franchise, marketing, lab operations, medical, IT, billing, Q/A, and commercial sales, to deliver clear and concise customer communications

Marketing Support

•       Manage strategic society relationships with responsibilities including:

o   show selection and exhibit planning

o   Identifying and coordinating appropriate commercial and medical team members to attend shows

•       Coordinated regional speaker program in partnership with commercial sales collegues

•       Project management of COE-specific client communications

•       Management of COE digital properties website and social media accounts through agencies equipped with AEM platform and aligned with digital team

•       Submission of new and updated materials for compliance review

•       Lab/Portfolio tools management such as Tube Optimization Tool

•       Marketing representative for project improvement initiatives and coordination of deliverables with marketing director

Qualifications:

Education Preferred:     

Associate or bachelor’s degree in a Life Science, Business, Customer Relations or related field, or equivalent combination of education and extensive relevant experience

Work Experience:           

Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in diagnostic laboratory business or other related industries
