Job Summary:

This position supports the development and sustainability of the Quest Cardiometabolic Center of Excellence at Cleveland HeartLab. S/He will partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop efficiencies and complete projects specific to initiatives relating to the Center of Excellence. This role will engage with key internal business partners including Laboratory Operations, IT, Marketing, Commercial Sales & Support, Medical Affairs, Billing, Research & Development, Legal, and Compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop, support, and facilitate tasks to drive operational excellence, which include, but are not limited to the following:

o   Requisition Forms – Partner with internal and external designers, Clinical Franchise team members, and Legal/Compliance to format original, and revise existing, requisition forms.

o   Custom Profiles – Partner with Sales Support, Billing, IT, Customer Service, and Commercial to review, release, and monitor ordering of customized customer profiles.

o   Laboratory Report – Work alongside franchise clinical partners to enhance laboratory report essential clinical information in a clear, aesthetic appealing, and simple manner.

o   Operational Resources [MKM1] – Generate, update, and maintain documents and resources intended to aid and inform internal partners and customers.

o   Communications – Partner with a cross-functional team (Marketing, Medical Affairs, Lab, IT, QA, Compliance, and Legal) to develop technical communications and other essential updates to inform customers and Commercial colleagues of operational changes, technical adjustments, and new portfolio options.

  • Address specialty sales team requests related to IT & laboratory operations, and collaborate with clinical franchise team to provide solutions to help drive growth.
  • Review internal and external operational and/or marketing communications for accuracy and clarity.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between franchise and internal partners – Medical Affairs, Research & Development, Laboratory Quality and Operations, IT, Commercial Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Legal, Compliance to meet franchise goals and initiatives.
  • Act as franchise point of contact and point of escalation for Customer Service and Commercial needs, and triage as needed to ensure execution.
  • Gather data and generate insights for operational processes and provide feedback to the organization.
  • Improve business processes by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes to enhance overall business.

Qualifications:

 

The successful candidate for Operations Specialist will have the following attributes and/or experiences:

  • 2-3 years relevant experience in healthcare
  • Requires Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, marketing and/or product management. 
  • Initiative – ability to independently problem solve and resolve complex problems.
  • Excellent organization skills to ensure timely execution.
  • Strong project management and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software programs to organize, analyze, graph, and summarize complex data
  • Change management, flexibility.
  • Ability to work in matrix organization.
  • Up to 10% business travel required.
