Job Description

Client Services/Send Out Quality Coordinator

AmeriPath Denver

The Client Service/Send Out Quality Coordinator helps the departments supervisor with monitoring the staff adherence in following SOP’s and policy and procedures. Assist Supervisor with updating SOP’s and report oversight.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of job duties and SOPs related to the department as they pertain to monitoring quality and performance. 
  • MAINTAINS CONFIDENTIALITY AT ALL TIMES. Will have access to employee performance standards and error rates.
  • Work with Supervisor to identify and document defects in department processes, including but not limited to: specimen turnaround time, result entry, billing and client reports.   
  • Research, respond, record, and submit staff’s department quality tracking to the department supervisor. 
  • Assists in preparation for external audits such as MQA and CAP. 
  • Prepares internal audits including, but not limited to verification of client call log follow up, data entry, reporting, monthly billing audits for CPT updates and reviews of equipment maintenance, temperature, and QA records. 
  • Provides appropriate feedback to supervisors when process correction arise within the department SOP’s. 
  • May assist in preparation or revision of SOPs. 
  • Assists supervisors in the development of training and competency programs. 
  • Provides backup on report generating, and report updates to clients.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Work Experience:   3 years of healthcare experience in a customer service role. 1 year of quality research, or

Preferred Work Experience:   Previous AP laboratory experience but not required.

Physical and Mental Requirements:   Able to sit or stand for long periods  

Knowledge Skills:  

  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills that foster a positive environment 
  • Excellent communication skills required 
  • Advanced PC skills in Excel and Word applications 


EDUCATION
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Associate Degree in Business, Healthcare or Public Administration preferred.

Pay Range: $22.25-33.40
