Consumer Initiated Testing (CIT) is the fast-growing B2C division at Quest offering a chance to work in a start-up environment within the world leader in the diagnostics industry. CIT allows patients to purchase their own laboratory tests without going to a doctor. This business provides consumers access to a diverse menu of over fifty tests and we are continually optimizing our offerings. Currently available options range from a Comprehensive Health Profiles to Vitamin Testing to COVID-19 Antibody testing. With CIT, patients can select, purchase, and pay for tests online, manage their testing appointment online, get easy-to-understand results through their secure account, and discuss questions with a physician.

Summary:

  • This position will support the Director Operations & Partnerships to execute the strategy for partnerships, they will own prospect pipeline, and manage day-to-day of partnerships existing relationships
  • Setup and optimize partner operations and new channel distribution
  • Be main point of contact for Partnerships.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Foster win-win Partnerships between CIT and partner companies by identifying prospects and owning a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Negotiate with Prospects and Partners the marketing placements and operational details of agreements.
  • Own and account manage key partnerships, including consumer acquisition relationships and with channel vendors/ distribution partners Support Director to define CIT’s Partnership strategy for inbound relationships; oversee a Partnership portfolio of existing Partners supporting on contracted services along with exploring/ launching new products and offerings.
  • Develop, track, analyze, execute against partner account plans, and communicate key quantitative metrics internally and to partners.
  • Represent CIT in Partner meetings with executive from other companies.
  • Resolve – proactively – business issues for Partners and serve as their internal advocate.
  • Drive continuous improvement for Partners team through project management processes, recommendation of tools used & updating processes where needed.
  • Run complex, cross-functional CIT projects, and initiatives to drive growth for our Partners; have a demonstrated track record of multi-tasking and coordinating efforts across multiple stakeholders, including legal, regulatory, medical, product, and marketing.
  •  Track Partnership success metrics and share weekly and monthly reporting across the CIT team to support data-driven decisions.
  • Establish data accuracy/ integrity with partners and internal teams to measure campaigns based on full funnel ROI (e.g., click/ lead to fulfillment).
  • Package insights from data analysis into slide output to facilitate structured executive engagement and decision making.
  • Discover and translate corporate and regulatory guidelines that impact customer experience.
  • Document current Partnership activities and develop best practices related to customer success strategies (i.e., Playbook creation).
  • Identify, plan, and communicate CIT-wide risks and roadblocks to current or new relationships.

Qualifications: 

Required Work Experience:

  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in business strategy/ consulting, business development or related; experience in high growth start-up
  • Business Development or client-facing role
  • Retail and/or eCommerce 
  • Platform-oriented D2C or B2B businesses

Preferred Work Experience:

  • 5-6+ years of relevant experience in business strategy/ consulting, operations, investment banking or related; experience in high growth start-up
  • Healthcare

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Perform job duties with frequent interruptions or distractions
  • Manage multiple priorities, adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Working on a computer for long periods of time

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Have a customer-centric approach and the ability to build positive partnerships with internal and external CIT stakeholders to optimize performance and customer experience.
  • Have strong Excel and data analytics capabilities, including comfort building financial models and inventory forecasts to drive decision making on day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

Travel Required: Domestic Up to 20%

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Preferred Education: MBA or equivalent
