Our Employer Solutions team is responsible for selling our panel of drug screening to employers of various sizes, across all industries.

This position is remote. Preference is given to individuals based in the following metro areas: Overland Park, KS, New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Denver, Seattle, and Southern California/Orange County, CA. Occasional travel may be required.

Marketing Manager, the role:

The Marketing Manager will assist in the execution of our marketing strategy, including the implementation of promotional and lead-generation campaigns. This professional will collaborate across the Employer Solutions business with sales colleagues and other internal departments, and external advertising agencies, to develop and execute marketing strategies which support the attainment of revenue goals for the Employer Solutions business.

Job responsibilities:

  • Work cross-functionally with Employer Solutions team for execution of marketing plan
  • Develop tactics that support the strategies of the marketing plan to drive awareness of Quest Diagnostics and revenue growth for the Employer Solutions market
  • Conduct market research efforts to understand customer priorities, objectives, and challenges and apply customer insights in tactical execution
  • Provide guidance on persona requirements for target call points and develop and execute tactics aligned to the buyer’s journey
  • Integrate voice of customer, and Quest brand expression, into marketing strategies and tactics
  • Design and deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
  • Compose internal communications regarding marketing activities, updates to resources, new materials, website updates, sponsorships and events
  • Drive a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels including but not limited to content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, and copywriting
  • Build relationships and partner with internal (business partners, peers) and external stakeholders (key industry players, agencies and vendors)
  • Manage and allocate project budgets accurately, appropriately, and on time

To qualify, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications or other related discipline, or equivalent work-related experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, including at least 1-2 years of experience configuring and managing complex marketing campaigns
  • Up to 30% business travel required
  • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross functional teams and in a matrix environment
  • Experience with marketing in the healthcare industry or B2B a plus.
  • Experience with developing and implementing digital marketing strategies a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively and productively in either an in person or remote scenario
  • Fully proficient with various software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Pharmaceutical, healthcare, diagnostic, lab or consumer packaged goods experience.
