Experimentation – CIT (Remote)

The Manager, E-Commerce
Experimentation is responsible for the design and execution of our online experimentation
program, using A/B and multivariate testing tools like Adobe Target or
Optimizely. S/he will also use our analytics and tag management tools (Google
Analytics 360, MixPanel, TealiumIQ, and Tealium CDP) to identify opportunities to
increase revenue, conversion rate, revenue per visitor, improve the customer
experience and grow the business. S/he will partner closely with marketing
peers, Marketing Research & Analytics and data science teams to advance
data-based decision making to accelerate the growth of Quest’s direct to
consumer (DTC) business.
Duties And
Responsibilities
The Manager, E-Commerce
Experimentation supports the business priorities and success of Quest
Diagnostics’ Direct to Consumer business by:
Designing
experiments to make buying easier and improve customer experience.
Implement
experiments by improving language, usability of website and increase conversion
rate, revenue per visitor, and repeat purchasers.
Analyze data
generated by experiments and present findings to stakeholders.
Develop
scalable tools and techniques to evaluate experiment data and report results.
Identify
opportunities and hypotheses for future testing via digital analytics reporting,
statistical analysis and data mining.
Create
visualizations via Tableau to communicate the results of statistical tests and
analysis to stakeholders.
Advise other
team members on experiment design and measurement.
Meet with
stakeholders to formulate test objectives and ensure tracking is in place to
support these objectives.
Provide expert
assistance in designing and sizing experiments to provide necessary levels of
power and precision.
Monitor
experiments to ensure test groups, control group, and tracking are set up
correctly.
Assess current
practices and make constructive recommendations for future tests.
Present test
design, results, and analysis to audiences with diverse roles and backgrounds
Understand and
apply best practices for designing statistical experiments, including
sample-size calculations.
Manage a
workload of multiple projects and support several teams within Consumer
Initiated Testing (CIT) organization.
Use Python or R
to perform deep-dive statistical analysis to supplement topline results of
experiments.
Provide overall
website traffic and sales analysis and reporting; provide ad-hoc reporting as
needed using Google Analytics 360 and MixPanel.
Qualifications
Required Work
Experience:
5 years’
previous E-Commerce experience (DTC E-Commerce experience)
3 - 5 years’
previous E-Commerce testing experience using Adobe Target or equivalent (Optimizely,
Google Optimize, VWO, Monetate)
3 - 5 years’
previous E-Commerce analytics experience using Google Analytics or equivalent
(Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics, MixPanel)
3 - 5 years’
experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and jQuery
Applied
experience in experiment design, hypothesis testing, marketing analytics, or
statistical analysis.
Well-developed
quantitative skills and analytical thinking
Strong computer
skills, including advanced Excel and Data Visualization (Tableau, PowerBI, or
Google Data Studio) skills
Ability to deal
with ambiguity and a changing environment
Strong organizational
skills
Ability to work
in a team-oriented environment
Ability to meet
concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Work
Experience
Expert
knowledge / certification in Adobe Target or equivalent (Optimizely, Google
Optimize, VWO, Monetate)
Comfortable
with tag management tools like Tealium or equivalent (Adobe Launch, Adobe DTM,
Google Tag Manager)
Ability to
write SQL and use database query tools
Experience with
statistical Analysis software / programming languages like SAS, R, or Python
Past experience
with another healthcare or highly regulated Direct to Consumer business.

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics or Marketing, or equivalent combination of
experience and education. MBA or advanced degree in statistics preferred.
