Manager, Business Insights and Salesforce.com, the role:
The Manager, Business Insights and Salesforce.com is responsible for delivering operational and customer insights with data/analytics and driving the effective use of this information to enhance business performance. Will be responsible for developing the strategy and implementation to create the foundation for future customer analytics. Will manage a team of data analysts that use customer data to provide insight into customer performance and suggest areas and methods of improving customer solutions. Focused on partnering with leadership to support growth strategies and managing resources to support growth, drive operational excellence initiatives, and create and implement strategies to improve the customer experience through data and statistics.

Job responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee analytical approaches necessary for improvements.
  • Provide insights to management for decision making and strategic planning.
  • Provide support and reporting recommendations on new product and service offerings.
  • Responsible for managing and developing internal/external information sources for analytics.
  • Define and implement data practices that ensure insights are timely, robust, repeatable, and trust-worthy to build capabilities for the future.
  • Ensure alignment of long-term planning with all internal business groups so that all needs are met based on set objectives.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships that ensure credible understanding of business problems, strategies, issues ad priorities.
  • Maintain open dialogue with senior leaders as it relates to projects and issues.
  • Managing and supporting CRM platform and all 3rd party tools used in addition.
  • Develop and maintain roadmap for CRM platform.
  • Participate in end to end implementation planning including project management, issue management, communication, and change management.
  • Work in conjunction with various departments within the business on operational challenges and necessary enhancements driven by CRM platform to enable the desired objective.
  • Manage project changes to control scope, quality, schedule costs and contracts.
  • Lead, coach and manage a team of up to 5 data analytics staff. Conduct performance reviews, training and development plans as needed.

To qualify, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 5 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1 to 3 years supervisory experience preferred
  • Salesforce.com administrator certification preferred
  • Knowledgeable in analysis role demonstrating hands-on ability to deliver insights and models leading to improved business performance.
  • Ability to influence business to change based on insights through effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Team focused management skills
