The ideal candidate will be able to work from our Secaucus, NJ location or will be located in the northeast of the US with the ability to travel to Quest locations as needed.


The Digital Marketing Analytics Manager is responsible for leveraging the web analytics and tag management technologies in our marketing technology stack to extract business insights that can inform business decisions and site optimization strategies. S/he will ensure we derive optimal and compliant use from those technologies, will provide best practice guidance to peers, help business partners translate business goals into a measurable strategy and correctly interpret web analytics data. S/he will also collaborate on and lead analytics-related projects.

Responsibilities:
Act as the business owner of our web analytics platform (Google Analytics)
Set strategy and priorities and oversee agency that maintains company-wide system configuration supporting multiple websites: provide direction and requirements, ensure work completed as needed
Develop and document governance model to ensure system configuration accurate and optimized and that an audit is reviewed with Legal team periodically.
Act as the business owner of our Tag Management platform (Tealium)
Oversee agency that maintains system configuration: provide direction and requirements to ensure platform kept up to date. Develop and document governance model to ensure system configuration accurate and optimized to meet Legal/Compliance and Data Privacy requirements. Review audit with Legal team periodically.
Ensure correct addition and maintenance of tags added to the platform either through performing the work in Tealium, or through oversight of an agency partner.
Maintain company data layer either through performing the work in Tealium, or through oversight of an agency partner.
Develop and document governance model to ensure system configuration accurate and optimized and that an audit is reviewed with Legal team periodically.
Act as subject matter expert for the Marketing team and other colleagues:
Facilitate analytics support requests from business partners by understanding business needs and determining the optimal way to measure success against goals, then defining requirements for additional KPIs to be added to our dashboards
Collaborate with Marketing Research & Analytics team to build enhancements to KPI dashboards by translating business requirements into an actionable measurement strategy and to improve the marketing department’s capabilities, and effectiveness with quantifying and measuring the business impact of all projects, campaigns, etc.
Act as department web analytics expert, staying up to date on trends, tools, and solutions in the web analytics landscape, and by offering colleagues interpretation, insights, clarity and recommendations derived from analytics data, as well as training on best practices to ensure accurate campaign measurement
Act as department tag and cookie expert, staying up to date on trends, tools, and solutions in the web analytics landscape, and by offering colleagues interpretation, insights, clarity and recommendations as needed.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data layer continues to meet business needs
Manage process to ensure campaign tracking employed as needed on all digital marketing campaigns run by colleagues and agencies
Collaborate with Market Research & Analytics team to ensure optimal use of the Qualtrics system to measure web site visitor satisfaction and to recommend content and functionality enhancements as needed to optimize the customer experience.
Evaluate new digital analytics technologies, make business cases as needed, and implement where appropriate. i.e., Hot Jar
Maintain roadmap for any needed analytics enhancements and changes to KPI dashboards.

Education:

Bachelor’s in marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications or other related discipline, or equivalent work-related experience.
Critical Know How and Skill Selection Criteria
Experience effectively measuring website performance with Google Analytics in a business setting. Experience in a healthcare HIPAA-covered setting preferred (hospital or health system, health plan, lab, healthcare provider, healthcare clearinghouse, health plan or health insurance company, health maintenance organizations, government programs that pay for healthcare (Medicare for example),or military and veterans' health programs.)
Experience translating business objectives into measurable KPIs, enabling that measurement and then leveraging insights derived from the analytics to recommend specific business improvements
2-4 years’ experience in digital marketing, including at least 1-2 years of experience leading digital analytics efforts.
Experience obtaining quality outcomes through managing an agency
Fully proficient with various software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
