The ideal candidate will be able to work from our Secaucus, NJ location (when we return to the office) or will be located in the northeast of the US with the ability to travel to Quest locations as needed.

Consumer Marketing, Senior Manager, the role:

The Consumer Marketing, Senior Manager will work with the Director of Marketing for Consumer Genetics and the broader Consumer Genetics Core Team to develop and execute the go-to-market plan for the consumer genetics product. This professional will develop a clear understanding of consumer genetics, industry trends and drivers, the competitive landscape, and target consumer segments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate ongoing opportunities for market research and consumer insights, and share findings with the broader team to help inform marketing strategy and product development.
  • Work cross-functionally and use best practices and available resources to implement marketing technologies that support the customer lifecycle and collect valuable customer data and analytics.
  • Develop digital marketing strategies and tactics aligned to the consumer’s journey to maximize opportunities to drive awareness, education, interest, intent, and conversion.
  • Collaborate with the appropriate teams to develop product messaging, content, and digital/creative assets rooted in consumer insights, reflect the Quest brand, and that emphasize our unique and differentiated product benefits.
  • Assist with building and executing full-funnel, multi-channel media plans for owned, organic, paid, and partner channels, supporting both promotional and evergreen campaigns.
  • Measure and report on key metrics for brand and performance campaigns, helping to effectively allocate budget and assessing campaign performance against goals.
  • Continually leverage data and analytics to optimize campaign tactics and assets with a focus on improving customer engagement, performance, and the overall customer experience.
  • Brief and update internal teams on a wide range of topics to secure support and resourcing, and ensuring alignment with overall business strategy and brand, communication, compliance, and legal policies.
  • Build relationships and partner with internal (business partners, peers) and external stakeholders (key industry players, agencies and vendors).

To qualify, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Business degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 6 years success in a digital marketing role required
  • 3+ years of healthcare marketing experience preferred
  • Up to 30% business travel required
  • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross functional teams and in a matrix environment.
  • Excellent project management skills, including management of agencies and vendors to ensure execution.
  • Superior communication skills including ability to develop superior slide presentations and deliver formal business presentations.
  • Initiative – ability to independently problem solve and find resolutions.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to synthesize market/customer insights into prioritized marketing opportunities; Strong capabilities in analyzing data to demonstrate quantifiable opportunities or results.
  • Core marketing capabilities to design marketing strategies and tactics to maximize opportunities.
  • Strong experience in campaign and media planning and execution.
