Sr Analyst, Commercial Operations- Collegeville, PA

Position: Sr. Analyst  (Commercial Excellence – Health Plans)
Function: Commercial Excellence
Reports to: Sr. Manager, Commercial Excellence – Health Plans

Purpose of the Role – Summary

Serve as the senior analyst supporting health plan leakage initiatives within the Commercial organization. This role would have responsibility for designing and building health plan data interfaces, standard reporting processes, targeting initiatives and ad hoc analyses

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain health plan data interfaces, including improving efficiencies as well as onboarding new datasets.
  • Support Health Plan specific leakage initiatives.
  • Respond to requests for data by determining users’ needs, collecting, organizing, and analyzing data, and providing accurate and complete reports.
  • Collaborate with Sales Technology to support improvements in data packaging and information insights contained in Salesforce.com.
  • Support the Clinical Franchises in the development and implementation of  focused targeting initiatives.
  • Support the Health Plan Call Center program.
  • Provide targeting solutions in response to market events.
  • Identify, develop and implement methods for improving reporting efficiency.
  • Align with Health Plans org, Commercial Operations and Sales.
  • Support development of processes and methods to better integrate leakage data into corporate systems and applications (such as Master Data Management).
  • Supervise the implementation of standard data and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with external customers to understand and deliver on data and reporting needs.

Skills:

  • Database application design and development experience
  • Strong technical skills in MS Access, Excel,  SFDC, SQL, SQL Developer, SAS or similar tools
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI and Tableau
  • Fluency with analyzing and manipulating large complex datasets
  • Deploying technology, process and methods  to analyze data
  • Health plan experience preferred
  • Sales or Sales Operations experience desirable

Experience :

  • BS/BA in business or information technology
  • Five or more years in role requiring analytics, database and application design, and reporting
  • A proven track record in analyzing data and drawing actionable conclusions 
  • Prefer experience in sales targeting /operations and in the healthcare industry
