1. Perform account reconciliation and analysis, primarily for balance sheet accounts. Prepare adjusting journal entries as required. 
2. Generate journal entries pertaining to assigned tasks. 
3. Upload monthly journal entries into accounting system. 
4. Generate, assemble, and distribute monthly financial reports. 
5. Maintain fixed asset cost and depreciation records and capital expenditure tracking. 
6. Conduct the fixed asset physical inventory in accordance with Finance policies and procedures. 
7. Prepare and file returns and remit payments for sales and use taxes and property taxes. 
8. Account for revenues and accounts receivables including preparation of Corporate A/R template. 
9. Cost the physical inventory of supplies inventory in the labs and the warehouse. 
10. Work closely with both internal and outside auditors to accommodate their audit requests. 
11. Maintain department document control process and records. 
12. Perform additional duties and assist with other projects upon request from management. 


-BA/BS degree or equivalent in Accounting. 

Work Experience: 
-Minimum 3+ years relevant General Accounting experience. This includes, but is not limited to, the generation of journal entries, account analyses, account reconciliations, trial balance generation, financial statement preparation, and other duties related to month-end close. 

Special Requirements: 
1. Demonstrated Excel skills.
2. Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, especially under the pressure of month-end close.
3. Demonstrated organizational skills.
